Really added value to a downtown worksite by lessening public dumping and preventing light trash from blowing around the other properties. Tarping wasn't a pain to do alone as long as pokey things were tossed in with care that the pokey things were down and not up.
It was also handy to leave a section tarped when it was full, which encouraged the trades to load the dumpster more effectively from front to back.
